Google has teamed up with India's Reliance Industries to provide free access to its Gemini AI tools for Jio telecom users. The 18-month offer includes the Gemini AI Pro plan, initially targeting users aged 18-25 before expanding nationwide. The package features the Gemini 2.5 Pro model, enhanced creative tools, and 2TB of cloud storage—valued at INR 35,100.

The MOVE highlights intensifying competition among U.S. tech firms in India's mobile market. OpenAI recently announced free ChatGPT Go subscriptions for Indian users, signaling a broader AI land grab in one of the world's fastest-growing digital economies.
